Summer in BUDAPEST
7 DAYS in
BUDAPEST
From our boutique SLOW TRAVEL collection
We invite you
to join our SLOW TRAVEL tour of Budapest.
Here at Avalon, we believe strongly in taking our time.
Making time to Relax and Rejuvenate
Get ready to be captivated by the regal, ancient mystique of Budapest. Known as Queen of the Danube, this European metropolis has jaw-dropping beauty around every corner. We’ll see the best the city has to offer and have plenty of time to explore the hidden gems.
A walk through the Castle District will have you thinking you’re in a fairytale. We’ll spend a leisurely day in the world-famous thermal baths in the City of Spas. There will be plenty of time to sit at cafes and read while you soak in the city, and then head out on the town with your new travel buddies.
Budapest will be our cozy home base for the week. We have plenty of delightful things to do together with enough time to explore and recharge on your own.
This is the balance we find best accommodates introverts who want to see the world.
Join us for the trip of a lifetime in the most magical little wonderland in Europe

Come See :: Come Be
“I have done a fair amount of traveling before, but never as a group. I never thought I would enjoy group travel. Totally changed my mind:)
Things that made the trip great:
-The other women
This was what I was most worried about on a group tour. It was so easy:) We were a diverse group with ladie from all over the US and Canada, with a wide age range. I chose the option of sharing a room with someone else on the tour and she was lovely. We have stayed in touch since the tour. Other definitely formed friendships as well.
-The itinerary
I was able to take so many fabulous photos:) We went to all the major sites, but also had time to wander. The Hamman we went to was life changing, different than any kind of spa
experience I had ever had. The food was incredible everywhere we went. We spent the last part of the trip in the Cappadocia region. The rock formations and habitations carved from the rocks were otherwordly.
-The guides
They were amazing:) Funny, easy going, experienced. They were in communication with the agency owner and quickly coordinated any travel changes that were needed.
-Avalon Women’s Travel
Great communicators and responsible for all of the above. I am a fan and would go on another trip with them again:)”
