Isolated in the frigid North Atlantic and forged through centuries of volcanic upheaval and tectonic shifting, Iceland is stunning to see and otherworldly to explore. The outdoors provide all the surreal majesty you need: towering snow-capped mountain peaks scratch the sky, massive glaciers scrape the earth, sprawling lava fields stretch beyond the horizon. We will hunt the aurora borealis and luxuriate in the hot springs. We will explore the wonderfully weird Reykjavik, both its history and art are not to be missed. It is far cheaper and much more sustainable to book a bus ticket as you exit baggage claim.
