DAY 1
Arrivals

• Your AWT Tour leader will meet you at the hotel

• This is considered a free day for early arrivals

• Settle in & relax at our downtown Reykjavik hotel

• Meet your Tour Leader

• Welcome Dinner

• Evening walk with new friends
  ~ I absolutely love love love walking a new city at night, but this will be a surreal one as the sun barely sets in the Icelandic summer. We will drink in the strangeness of this Arctic Beauty

• Night dip at the Sundhöllin pool in the giant outdoor hot tubs overlooking the city

DAY 2
Golden Circle

•  Þingvellir National Park

• Friðheimar Greenhouse and Horse Farm for a tour and a delicious Icelandic Lunch

• Geysir hot spring

• Gullfoss waterfall

• End the day with a soak in the Secret Lagoon

• Evening free

DAY 3
South Coast Expedition!

• Waterfalls! Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss

• The Black Sand Beach

• Vík

• Fjaðrárgljúfur and more. 

• Check in to our Southern Glacier Lagoon Hotel. It has an amazing restaurant and hot tubs and saunas where you can relax under the midnight sun with a glass of wine or iced tea!

DAY 4
Continued Adventures

• The Glacier Lagoon

• Diamond Beach

  ~If we are lucky we will spot some seals swimming around or relaxing on the icebergs. 

• Later we will check into the gorgeous Greenhouse Hotel in Hveragerði town.

• Every town in Iceland has a swimming pool and the one in Hveragerði is incredible, the steambath is built on top of a hot spring!

DAY 5
Spa Day

• Return to Reykjavik

• Free Time! Do what you want

• Dinner together

• Sky Lagoon Spa and Ritual

Day 6
Leisurely Day in Reykjavik

• A delightful morning whale-watching tour from the old harbour.

• Afternoon free to do that last minute wandering, cafe-sitting, vintage shopping, whathaveyou!

• Farewell dinner

• Maybe one last dip in the town hot tubs?

Day 7

• Fond farewells

• And we’ll dream together of our next big adventure

• Airport Transfers - Please note: Iceland very much discourages car hire pick ups as reflected in the 200 euro price tag. It is far cheaper and much more sustainable to book a bus ticket as you exit baggage claim. Easy peasy and a nice reflection of how seriously Icelanders take their commitment to environmental protection in tourism.
